Governor's Office of Planning and Research
OPR coordinates state policies that affect the military, including land use planning, regulatory activities by state agencies, and state legislation. OPR is working to improve communication and encourage collaboration between local governments and the United States Military on land use planning and development issues in California.

Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development
GO-Biz serves as California?s single point of contact for economic development and job creation efforts. GO-Biz offers a range of services to business owners including: attraction, retention and expansion services, site selection, permit streamlining, clearing of regulatory hurdles, small business assistance, international trade development, assistance with state government, and much more.

California Military Department
The California Military Department is a diverse, community-based organization comprised of four pillars: the California Army National Guard, the California Air National Guard, the California State Military Reserve and the California Youth and Community Programs. In addition to providing homeland defense for California and the Western U.S. and deploying to support to combat commanders overseas, the California National Guard also provides disaster response such as firefighting and relief aid during emergencies throughout the nation.

California Department of Veterans Affairs
The California Department of Veterans Affairs provides a wide variety of information and services to California's veterans, including health, housing, education and employment.
