Association of Defense Communities
Representing 200 communities, states and regions with a significant military presence as well as their partner organizations, ADC is the nation’s premier membership organization serving America’s defense communities. Their site contains useful, detailed up-to-date information to members on issues affecting the community, as well as more general information for the general public.
Southwest Defense Alliance
A public benefit corporation formed in 1998 to preserve and enhance critical defense missions and assets in the southwest United States, the Alliance engages in communication efforts to ensure that local, state and federal elected officials in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Utah have the information needed to be effective advocates.
Western Regional Partnership
WRP provides a proactive and collaborative framework for senior-policy-level Federal, State and Tribal leadership to identify common goals and emerging issues in the states of Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah and to develop solutions that support WRP Partners and protect natural resources, while promoting sustainability, homeland security and military readiness. Principals include representatives of Federal agencies and State and Tribal leadership in the States of Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. Additionally, non-governmental organizations are encouraged to participate at the WRP Committee level. WRP strives to operate at the regional level, but will invite local governments to participate at the project level.

Antelope Valley Board of Trade (Edwards AFB, AF Plant 42)
Serving the Antelope Valley since 1957, it is the mission of The Antelope Valley Board of Trade “to engage in maintaining and promoting diverse business and industry, quality infrastructures and a strong legislative voice for the benefit of its members and the Greater Antelope Valley.”
B3K Prosperity(Edwards AFB, NAWS China Lake)
B3K Prosperity is committed to standing against the unique challenges our region is facing. B3K stands for “A Better Bakersfield and Boundless Kern”, and was formed in early 2020 as a collaboration among business, government, and civic stakeholders. In 2020, B3K commissioned a quantitative market assessment of the Bakersfield-Kern County Region that revealed the major challenges our region is facing. More than half of families struggle to make ends meet, and more than a third of all local residents are part of struggling working families.
Beale Military Liaison Committee (Beale AFB)
Founded in 1985, BMLC (Beale Military Liaison Council) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that raises funds and awareness for programs that support Beale AFB and make a difference in the lives of the men, women and their families stationed there. BMLC maintains ongoing dialogue with Air Force leaders, elected officials and relevant community organizations to ensure Beale, the center for High Altitude Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, or HAISR, remains viable and top of mind.
California Defense Communities Alliance (Statewide)
The California Defense Communities Alliance (CDCA) supports, promotes, and represents the interests of our Defense Organizations throughout California while advocating on behalf of those that serve or have served in these organizations. CDCA seeks to advance the collaboration and communication between the military, elected and appointed officials, and local communities while working to enhance the recognition of the many contributions defense organizations make to California and the Nation.
The China Lake Alliance(NAWS China Lake)
The China Lake Alliance is a committee of the Indian Wells Valley Economic Development Corporation (IWVEDC) that serves as a support mechanism for the relevant and critically important work done by the community in support of the US Navy. The Alliance’s positive influence has supported the base’s growth while the community has benefited from an increase in non-base businesses and services. By articulating China Lake’s value to local, state, and national decision makers and supporting the technology, energy, and aerospace development in the Indian Wells Valley, the Alliance helps to ensure the survival and expansion of China Lake’s mission.
Edwards Community Alliance (Edwards AFB)
The purpose of the Edwards Community Alliance (“the Alliance”) is to support the continued viability of Edwards Air Force Base and the Air Force Flight Test Center through collaborative efforts,including political lobbying, financial support, and promotion of Edwards Air Force Base and the Antelope Valley Region as a premier location for continued pursuit of military, defense, and commercial aerospace enterprises.
Friends of the Combat Center(Twentynine Palms)
This group was formed to engage on issues that strengthen the relationship with the Marine Corps Base in Morongo Basin and support the economic vitality of the communities serving the active military, their families and civilian employees stationed in 29 Palms.

Los Alamitos Regional Military Affairs Committee (JFTB Los Alamitos, NWS Seal Beach)
RMAC’s mission is to promote the Joint Forces Training Base with political action, community and business support, government and civic awareness, to ensure the Joint Forces Training Base as a vital public and military asset to the region, state and nation.
Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LA AFB)
LAEDC’s mission is to attract, retain and grow businesses and jobs for the regions of Los Angeles County. The LAEDC serves the 88 cities and more than 100 unincorporated communities of L.A. County through its free business assistance and attraction programs, economic research, fee-supported economic and policy analysis, and public policy leadership.
Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce (LA AFB)
The largest business association in Los Angeles County, the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce acts as the voice of business in the region.
March Joint Powers Authority (March ARB)
The March Joint Powers Authority is an award-winning Base Reuse Authority fostering successful public-private partnerships for the development of former March Air Force Base properties. Located within the heart of western Riverside County and under the joint leadership of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and City Councils of Moreno Valley, Perris, and Riverside, the March JPA is home to one of the most sustainable and progressive business centers within California.

Working largely from the private sector, the Monday Morning Group has built an essential advocacy structure of concerned citizens that is proactive, informed and effective – one that works and delivers results.
Monterey Bay Defense Alliance (Various Defense Activities in the Monterey Area)
A volunteer group organized by the City of Monterey committed to enhancing, growing and protecting the national security assets in the Monterey Bay Area to support and grow National Security Assets.
Regional Defense Partnership for the 21st Century (Ventura County Installations)
The Regional Defense Partnership for the 21st Century (RDP-21) is a Ventura County community based organization with a mission to support, preserve and enhance the local military facilities/organizations and act as an advocate at local and national level to promote growth and retention in the County.
San Diego Economic Development Corporation (San Diego Installations)
San Diego Regional EDC is a nonprofit corporation funded by more than 150 companies and public partners that are committed to enhancing prosperity in the San Diego Region.
San Diego Military Advisory Council (San Diego Installations)
SDMAC is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation whose mission is to support, promote, and represent the common business and other interests of the military, their quality of life issues, and the defense industry community in the San Diego area.

Southern California Leadership Council (LA AFB)
Founded in 2005 as a non-partisan, non-profit, business-led public policy partnership, the Leadership Council exerts strong leadership on issues of regional significance, providing a common voice on major public policies critical to economic vitality, job growth and quality of life in Southern California. The Council unites business and community leaders from throughout the seven-county region into one effective leadership organization whose membership includes three former California Governors and two dozen Presidents and CEO?s of top Southern California companies.
South Bay Aerospace Alliance (LA AFB)
Created by the South Bay Association Chambers of Commerce in 2017 and achieving its non-profit status in 2018, the Alliance is a non-partisan community-based coalition of community leaders and partner organization focused on supporting the interests of the local aerospace and defense industry in Los Angeles County, especially LA AFB, the US Space Force (USSF) and the Space Systems Command (SSC). The SBAA comprises elected officials at all levels of government, local Chambers of Commerce, military and veterans associations, business and industry representatives, nonprofit organizations, educations interests and a variety of local community centers of influence.
Travis Community Consortium (Travis AFB)
Formed in 2003, TCC works closely with base leadership and the CA Congressional Delegation to ensure Travis personnel are equipped and have the resources they need to meet the national security demands of today by advocating for the long-term sustainability of the installation. TCC members include Solano County and its affiliated city governments, the Solano County Economic Development Corporation, and the Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee.
Vacaville Chamber of Commerce (Travis AFB)
The Vacaville Chamber of Commerce is a business membership driven organization representing more than 530 businesses from Vacaville and surrounding area, focused on creating an environment that is healthy for business. Its Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee (TRAFC) closely monitors the progress at Travis AFB to ensure its continued development.
Ventura County Economic Development Agency (Ventura County Installations)
The regional voice of business on issues affecting the economy in Ventura County and California, VCEDA has been actively involved in a myriad of projects aimed at maintaining the economic vitality of the county including protecting Ventura County military bases during BRAC in 1995 and 2005.
